So many sites, where do you start?

Postby LVM » Fri Jun 18, 2010 8:19 am

Hi Everyone

I am new to this & clicked on a couple of options but was overwhelmed by constant requests for info. Decided not to continue without some background research into doing survey's etc. Is Paypal safe (Vindale Research uses this) or are there other payment options for completed survey's?

What about Great Aust. survey's & Rewards Master or Sophies? Any tips? I am doing a BA in Social Science on-line, P/T so the extra cash would be great.

Cheers

Hello LVM,

Market research companies will ask you for your personal information for a variety of reasons - one is to qualify you for surveys, another is so that they can send you payment or issue you a prize, etc. We have a list here: http://surveybounty.com/verified.html which lists some background information on different market research companies if you have any concerns.

PayPal is a safe option for accepting payments - in fact, it is usually the preferred method by survey takers. Usually when a survey company offers the option of getting paid by PayPal, their panelists usually receive their payments faster. This is because checks can take a lot of time to process due to the administration involved.

the fear raised is not correct. one can survey and ask for payment into paypal account which is really safe because whenever any amount is required to be placed into or wanted to withdraw an email is sent to the member into his email to verify the code given. which is really appreciable.

Hello,

I want to take surveys from India and created a personal account in paypal for receiving payment from survey companies offering paypal as a payment processor, but I am in confusion between personal account or premier or business account ?
Can anyone suggest me regarding this ?

Paypal is definitely the safest and best option for receiving payments for anything online. All personal information remains personal. It is best to set up the account as a personal account when just receiving payments. The business account is really only needed if you are running an online business that accepts payments from clients (ie. an etsy/ebay store or service provider). Business accounts also let you create subscription/recurring payment charges
